Erin’s St. Lucian Cocoa Tea

Erin's St. Lucian Cocoa Tea

Water 2 cups
Grated cocoa 1/2 cup
Cinnamon 1/4 tsp
Vanilla 1/4 tsp
Milk 1 cup
Sugar to sweeten as desired

A breakfast tradition my St. Lucian father-in-law introduced me to, this delicious and fragrant drink is perfect for Christmas morning!

Instructions

  1. Pour 2 cups of water, grated cocoa and cinnamon in a pot and bring to a boil. Let it boil for a few minutes.
  2. Add milk and stir. Add sugar as desired to sweeten.
  3. Strain and then serve!
