Erin's St. Lucian Cocoa Tea
Water | 2 cups | |
Grated cocoa | 1/2 cup | |
Cinnamon | 1/4 tsp | |
Vanilla | 1/4 tsp | |
Milk | 1 cup | |
Sugar to sweeten | as desired |
A breakfast tradition my St. Lucian father-in-law introduced me to, this delicious and fragrant drink is perfect for Christmas morning!
Instructions
- Pour 2 cups of water, grated cocoa and cinnamon in a pot and bring to a boil. Let it boil for a few minutes.
- Add milk and stir. Add sugar as desired to sweeten.
- Strain and then serve!
