Melody's World's Greatest Coleslaw

Mayonnaise 1 cup
Dijon mustard 2 Tbsps
Apple cider vinegar 2 Tbsps
Sugar 3 Tbsps
Kosher salt 3/4 tsp
Onion powder or finely grated onion 1 tsp / 1 Tbsp
Horseradish 1 1/2 Tbsps
Celery seeds 2 tsps
Coleslaw mix plain cabbage or tri-color deli style 1 16 oz bag

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, sugar, salt, onion powder, and celery seeds.
  2. Add the shredded cabbage and toss until well-coated.
  3. Refrigerate for an hour before serving and up to 2 days.
  4. Toss again right before serving. Enjoy! 

Notes 

This coleslaw can be made in advance. However, it will release more liquid the longer it is stored in the refrigerator. You’ll want to drain off some of the excess liquid before tossing again and serving.
